With the current controversy over how President Donald Trump has handled the difficult task of comforting the family members of American service members who have fallen in the line of duty, it seemed an appropriate time to look at where around the world these sacrifices are being made.
The below map shows the general location of the 43 military deaths that have occurred abroad since Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20, 2017, according to Department of Defense information.
