Corp. Lasse [full name withheld] of the Danish military has constructed over 500 bombs -- sometimes direct copies of explosive devices used by terrorists in previous attacks, other times ones he devises with his own dark imagination.

"I have to act like a terrorist. I have to think like a terrorist," Lasse says in a NATO video published Tuesday. "I have to think: What could be the target here? How could I make the most damage?"

The idea is to use Lasse's bombs to train disposal units to be able to quickly identify and defuse explosive devices in the field, potentially saving hundreds of lives. Lasse says he thinks he has the "best job in the whole world."
